they are great, the charango player is really good
(see La Folia too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnzD4kmNuTo ).

I like their idea of mixing instruments from different cultures.

i´ve just recorded Pavanas Al Ayre Español.
Nervousness in front of the camera made my playing not as good as i would like :oops:
Tomorrow i´m going to a trip and wanted to record before going there :mrgreen:

I really enjoyed this. I found a charango in a music shop, and managed to get a little bit of simple music out of it. It was very friendly for the fingers and sounded sweet but vibrant, unlike a lute that I also tried :o

I hope you and your family are ok after the terrible earthquake in your country.

Yes, charangos usually are friendly for the fingers and the tiny body is very resonant.
I can´t compare it to a lute since i have never tried one! :|

Where are you from, Suzanne?

Thanks for your wishes. We are all safe, i came back from the south (at the other side of the epicenter) just a few days earlier than the earthquake so i guess i was lucky. Santiago was "shocked" for a few days (i was without electric power a few days) but now everything is normal.

I was worried too , though I knew Santiago is quite a way from the epicenter

I am from the North of England (Not famous for any extreme events, fortunately)
